Scholarships are available each year through the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation to all high school seniors or college students who attend Crystal Lake Community School District 155, Marian Central Catholic High School, or McHenry County College.

Bob Blazier Scholarship for Leadership

Created in May of 2013 and named in recognition of Bob Blazier who has been a leader for the Crystal Lake Chamber and in the community since the early 1960’s. 

Bob Blazier Scholarship for Leadership recipients are awarded $500. This scholarship is available each year to all high school seniors or college students who attend Crystal Lake Community School District 155, Marian Central Catholic High School, or McHenry County College and have demonstrated strong leadership characteristics.

Baxter & Woodman (Civil Engineering) Scholarship

The Baxter & Woodman Engineering Scholarship was created in 2020 to help provide financial support to applicants pursuing a civil engineering degree.

There are two $1,000 scholarships available each year to all high school seniors or college students who attend Crystal Lake Community School District 155, Marian Central Catholic High School, or McHenry County College and are majoring in Civil Engineering.

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Healthcare Careers Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students already enrolled or looking to enroll into programs with careers in the Healthcare industry. Advocate Scholarship was created to support students' education as future health care workers assist in fulfilling the mission of Chamber Foundations'. To provide funds, education, resources, and training that inspires, connects, and promotes new community, leadership, and commerce opportunities.

Leaders in Action Scholarship (Closed for 2022)

For over 40 years, Leaders in Action has offered business professionals a credible space to explore new concepts and gain necessary skills. This 9-week course is speaker-led with breakout sessions where they can engage and discuss concepts with their peers.

    • Where do you picture yourself after being in your career for five years and what impact will you have on your community?

  • College/University Acceptance Letter
