Bob Blazier Scholarship for Leadership

Created in May of 2013 and named in recognition of Bob Blazier who has been a leader for the Crystal Lake Chamber and in the community since the early 1960’s.

Bob Blazier Scholarship for Leadership recipients are awarded $1,000. This scholarship is available each year to all high school seniors or college students who attend Crystal Lake Community School District 155, Marian Central Catholic High School, or McHenry County College and have demonstrated strong leadership characteristics.

Crystal Lake Chamber Foundation Community Scholarship

For students who are pursuing their education at a 2-year / 4-year college. Each year, we seek to award several students with a $1,000 scholarship from our General Scholarship Fund, all thanks to the generosity of community members like you, through annual fundraisers like our GEM Leadership Celebration Luncheon, Giving Thanks Mixer, and Fund in the Sun events.

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Healthcare Careers Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to students already enrolled or looking to enroll in programs with careers in the Healthcare industry. Advocate Scholarship was created to support students' education as future health care workers and assist in fulfilling the mission of Chamber Foundation: To provide funds, education, resources, and training that inspires, connects, and promotes new community, leadership, and commerce opportunities. Two winners will be each be selected for a $500 scholarship.

 Exemplar Financial Network Scholarship

For students majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance Services, Financial Planning, or Accounting. Students must complete at least one high school business course. The winner is awarded $2,500 and must agree to undertake a part-time paid internship after their first year of college.

Caldwell Family Legacy Scholarship

For students pursuing a law or pre-law degree. Created in December 2022 in recognition of The Caldwell Family Legacy of three generations of lawyers and judges in McHenry County and their love of law. Two winners are each selected for a $2,000 scholarship.

 

 

Skilled Trades Scholarship, Sponsored by Weyers McKeever Financial

For students going into a trade school or two-year school, which will lead to a diploma or certificate of completion. One winner will be selected for a $2,500 scholarship.

 

Shaw Media Journalism & Communications  

For students pursuing a career in Journalism or Communications. One winner will be selected for a $1,000 scholarship.

 

Conscious College Planning Scholarship

For students who are pursuing their education at a 2-year / 4-year college. One winner will be selected for a $1,000 scholarship. The winner also receives an Advanced Aptitude Testing & Coaching Package worth $750.

Mathnasium of Crystal Lake Careers Scholarship

For students who are pursuing their education at a 2-year / 4-year college. The winner will be selected for a $1,000 scholarship.

 

Joe and Sandy Postelnick Scholarship

For students who are pursuing their education at a 2-year / 4-year college. Two winners are each selected for a $1,000 scholarship.
