First Institute won the Corporate Challenge with the most team players to participate in the 2017 Community Clean Up! They won a huge trophy and a $50 gift certificate to Colonial Cafe.

Thanks to everyone who attended this family-friendly event to clean up what winter left behind.
Here are the totals for this year's Community Clean Up:
- Crystal Lake Police took back 3 large boxes of prescription drugs totaling 64lbs.
- AMS Shredded 13 bins of paper totaling 2,315 lbs. (Almost 4 times the amount from last year)
- 1-800-Got Junk? filled 2 trucks with electronics.
- Achieve Footwear collected 58 pairs of shoes.
-Douglas Automotive collected over a dozen tires and 5 gallons of used motor oil.
