Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony
The Chamber holds its annual dinner, a formal affair, in May of each year. The prestigious Carl Wehde Award and Robert O. Covey Business of the Year Award along with other special tributes, are presented. The passing of the gavel from the current to the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ambassadors is also featured. This event is traditionally well attended. Contact Bonnie Miller for more information.
Business Builders
Business Builders is an eat and learn opportunity held throughout the year at both breakfast and lunch time, providing a forum for members to keep up-to-date with the challenges, concerns, and opportunities involved with growing your business. Members have the opportunity to meet with their peers to enhance their own skill set. The topics and speakers change for every session. Each seminar is new and each speaker offers a different perspective on their chosen topic.
There is always time for questions, answers, and also networking. Attendees leave with at least one or two business tips they can use that same day! Reservations are required. Check the calendar of events for the next session or contact Laura Witlox for more information.
Golf League
A nine-hole "twilight" golf league is sponsored annually by the Chamber with some days set aside for 18-hole events. It begins in early May and continues each Thursday through September at the Crystal Woods Golf Club. The league schedule ends with an awards banquet and celebration. This is a coed league and is open to both Chamber members and non-members. Bring your co-workers, bring your friends, bring your neighbors… or just bring yourself and your clubs! Contact Laura
Witlox for more information.
