Our Chamber newsletter is circulated by the Northwest Herald newspaper to the entire
Crystal Lake area in addition to being mailed to each of our Chamber members. It
provides event information and promotes local businesses. Frequency: Six times per

Crystal Lake Community Guide
The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Northwest Herald produces
a comprehensive guide for the Crystal Lake area. Chamber members will have the opportunity
to share their advertising message in a publication that will have excellent exposure
and a long shelf life in one of the fastest growing areas in the State of Illinois.
Distribution: 17,000 through the Northwest Herald and 3,000 through the Chamber
office. Advertising is sold by the Northwest Herald, contact Sue Bechtold for more
info.
The Chamber also partners in producing a Crystal Lake Map as well as a McHenry
County Atlas. Each is produced every other year and advertising is sold by the publishing
company. As a Chamber member, you will get notification by mail when those opportunities
arise.
