"Leaders in Action was a wonderful program for me to participate in. I was always a bit intimidated by networking or “professional mingling”; Leaders in Action helped me get over that fear. I met people in my session that gave me pointers on how to get over that fear. Sitting at a new table every week helped me meet new people and practice my new skills.
The speakers motivated me in this program. The Leaders in Action committee put a lot of thought into choosing the speakers-each dynamic and involving the audience! Every topic was relevant and could be applied to my job and implemented immediately.
Finally, I believe that attending the Leaders in Action program has better equipped me to take charge in my position and really apply each lesson learned to enhance the team atmosphere and keep moving forward. I felt by attending this program I am better prepared for situations that arise at work."
