FORUM FOR BUSINESS SUPPORT
This committee offers support and informative meetings for local businesses. Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 am in the Chamber boardroom. Educational and informative speakers are usually brought in and there are reports given from the City of Crystal Lake, the McHenry County Economic Development Center, the Crystal Lake Economic Development Committee and Imagine McHenry County. This meeting is open to the general membership.

COMMUNITY CLEAN UP COMMITTEE
This committee organizes the annual Community Clean Up Day event which is held every year around Earth Day. Area residents, community groups, organizations, business groups, families, and individuals participate in this collective effort to tidy up the area streets, parks and neighborhoods. COMMUNITY HARVEST COMMITTEE
This committee organizes the annual Community Harvest food drive. The goal of this community event is to collect non-perishable food, baby and personal hygiene items as well as monetary donations, which benefit the Crystal Lake Food Pantry and the Jaycees' Share-A-Christmas program. On Thanksgiving morning, volunteers come together to sort all of the items collected.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
The Governmental Affairs Committee monitors legal and political issues within the community, county and state. They keep the Chamber Board informed of items that directly affect local businesses and encourage action, if appropriate. GOLF CLASSIC COMMITTEE
This committee offers a great opportunity to network with leaders of the Crystal Lake business community while organizing the annual golf classic. The outing is held at a private country club every year at the end of June. The committee is responsible for organizing the event, selling sponsorships, marketing, collecting items for the raffle and running the different contests throughout the day. HOME & BUSINESS EXPO COMMITTEE
The Home & Business EXPO is the Chamber's largest event. EXPO is a community trade fair held annually each spring which attracts thousands of area residents. The committee is responsible for organizing all aspects of EXPO including marketing, promoting, collecting raffle items, and coordinating signage and operations during the weekend of EXPO. LATINO CONNECTION
An educational and informal networking group designed to remove barriers among the community, to increase business and provide support to help everyone grow through seminars and socials, to become an integral part of the Crystal Lake community. Four seminars are offered in Spanish each year on the third Wednesday of the month. Planning sessions and social dates occur monthly. For more information contact Maria Ortega.
CONEXION LATINA
Un grupo educativo que trata de eliminar barreras entre la comunidad, aumentar negocio y proporcionar apoyo para ayudar a cada uno poder crecer a través de seminarios y de convivencias, y ser una parte integrante de la comunidad de Crystal Lake. LEADERS IN ACTION COMMITTEE
For 36 years, the Crystal Lake Chamber has provided world-class leadership training with its Leaders in Action program. This leadership school is an eight-week series of presentations by professional trainers, designed to teach management skills.
